Introduction to the 人文科技微學程 (Micro Program in Humanities and Technology)

The objective of this program is to support National Chengchi University’s strategy for promoting widespread literacy in Humanities AI, making the application of digital humanities and AI technologies a core competency for students across all colleges and departments. By utilizing technology to translate and further innovate upon humanities content, the “人文科技微學程” (Micro Program in Humanities and Technology) has been established. This micro program incorporates all courses offered under both phases of the project, and was officially approved for the 113-1 semester. Through cross-college collaboration, the program advances the university’s Humanities AI literacy strategy, fulfilling the vision of “humanities as the foundation, technology as the tool,” and aims to make digital humanities and AI proficiency a fundamental skill for all NCCU students.

Students who complete a minimum of 9 credits from the program’s designated course groups are eligible to apply to the Center for Creativity and Innovation Studies. Upon review and verification of completion requirements, qualified students will be awarded a micro program completion certificate. At the end of each term, students who have fulfilled the credit requirement will be proactively reminded to apply for the certificate. The program office will also notify students who have completed relevant courses with the upcoming semester’s course schedule, encouraging further course enrollment.
